On the surface this is just another URL shortening service. There are a wide variety of URL shortening services out there. Daly allows you to use the one you want, when you want it but without the trouble of going to each site.
There are amazing desktop apps out there that we use every day like Seesmic Desktop, phpDesigner, Pidgin, and more. Wouldn't it be great if you didn't have to reconfigure the program with your favorite settings when you install it on another computer or if you need to reinstall it?
Snip.ly is a Snippit Manager. It allows you to share and save snippits of web code and to tweet those posts that are too long to tweet, too short to blog about, and not important enough to make a new web page about.
